What is virtual horse racing?
Virtual horse racing is betting on computer-generated races. A random number generator decides the finishing order and an animation shows the race. There are no real horses, so races can run every minute, day and night.
Is this game free?
Yes. You get 1,000 demo credits when you open the game, with no sign-up and no payment. When your balance falls below 1,000 you can top it back up to 1,000 at any time.
Can I win real money?
Not in this game. Demo credits have no cash value, and you cannot buy them, withdraw them or swap them for prizes. The Play for real button takes you to a partner betting site, where real stakes and the partner’s own rules apply. Check that it is licensed where you live and bet only what you can afford to lose.
Are the odds the same on the partner site?
No. The partner sets its own prices and margins. The RTP published on our odds and RTP page covers this demo only.
How is the winner of a virtual horse race decided?
When betting closes, the server asks a cryptographic random number generator for numbers and uses them to draw the finishing order. Stronger horses, the ones with shorter odds, are more likely to win. The how it works page shows each step.
Is the result decided before the race starts?
The result is drawn at the moment betting closes, a split second before the animation starts. During the betting window it does not exist yet, so nobody can know it in advance.
Can the animation change the result?
No. The animation is built from the result, not the other way round. Horses cross the line in the drawn order, even if a different horse led for most of the race.
Is virtual horse racing rigged?
The odds include a house margin, as in any betting game. On this site the margin is published for every market and was checked over 100,000 simulated races. Beyond the margin, nothing tilts the draw. See odds and RTP.
What is the RTP here?
92% for Win, Place, Show and Lay. 88% for Forecast and Quinella. 85% for Tricast and Trio. 93% for the odd/even, low/high and top-3 total bets.
How often does the favourite win?
In our 100,000-race test the favourite won 28.3% of the time, a little more than one race in four.
Is there a strategy that beats virtual horse racing?
No. Each race is an independent draw and every price carries the house margin. A staking plan changes how your balance swings, not where it ends up over many races.
What are the bet limits?
From 1 to 500 credits per selection, up to 20 selections on one slip and a maximum payout of 100,000 per bet.
Why can I not lay some horses?
A lay bet is only offered when its price is at least 1.02. For a weak horse the chance of it not winning is so high that the price would fall below that, so the market stays closed.
What happens if I close the page during a race?
Nothing changes. The server settles your bets when the race ends and your balance is waiting when you come back on the same browser.
How do I get on the leaderboard?
Play at least one race. Set a nickname in the player panel if you want your own name to appear. The profit table needs at least 100 credits staked. Details on the leaderboard page.
Why is my balance different on another device?
Your session lives in this browser. A different device or a cleared browser starts a new guest with 1,000 credits.
Who can play?
Adults aged 18 and over. Even with play money, keep your sessions short and take breaks. Our responsible gaming page lists free support services.
